I am a true believer in being consistent in everything that you do in life, most importantly exercise. It is so much easier on your mind and body to continue a routine than to start all over again when it comes to working out. I have pulled together my top 3 picks of the best workouts you can do to shed fat and look sculpted fast. I do these workouts on a weekly basis and there is no doubt, they are very challenging, but they get the results very quickly. If you rotate these exercises every other day, you will never let them go because of the fabulous results and will be consistent all year round. I depend on these workouts to consistently live a skinny healthy life and couldn’t live without them.
1. Physique 57 Full Body Workout (Second Edition) is an absolute MUST for your life. This 57 minute routine touches every single muscle in your body through interval training sets. The process helps you lose pounds and inches off of your frame while getting lean and most importantly, strong. Weights are integrated along with a playground ball to make the moves that much more challenging. I am a fan and own all of her workout routines, but this one stands out because she keeps the promise more than ever to strip you and rip you FAST. There are 2 very effective 30 or so minute workouts (45 minutes with warm up and stretch) that includes exciting new exercises. This fusion style routine includes kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, yoga and weight training that combined, will get you in the shape of your life very quickly.
3. Yogalosophy by Mandy Ingber is truly my favorite! Over the past 2 years I have come to realize how essential Yoga is not just for me, but for all humans on earth. As Mandy says, “a flexible spine will keep you young” and that is the premise I live by. If we can still touch our toes or pick up something off of the floor when we are in our 80′s, we can be considered to be fit and healthy, but in order to do that, we must start now. Some of us are not as flexible as others, but the key to flexibility is being consistent through touching our toes and stretching our bodies each day. Just like anything in life, the more you do something, the better results you will get. This workout is a hybrid routine that combines traditional yoga poses paired with toning exercises that will get you in the best shape of your life. Mandy believes in the union of mind and body through emotional motivation and she does a tremendous job at it. I love this DVD so much I could scream about it from a mountain top!
